06.12.2021Dr. Eng. Lydia Kostova, manager at Interiorprotect Ltd., participated in the third Fire Safety Week, November 29th - December 2nd 2021, organized by the European Fire Safety Alliance. It was supported by Members of the European Parliament.
The European Fire Safety Action Plan `10` actions focuses on fire safety in the residential environment: the growing vulnerable community, dangerous reduction in escape times, energy transition, awareness of fire safety, EU-wide data on residential fires and EU-wide communication and collaboration.
The Fire Safety Week 2021 focus was on research, studies and reports that highlight the risks of fire in the home. Leading experts shared their knowledge about major (social) fire safety issues in Europe, such as the ageing population, the energy transition and (un)harmonized fire statistics.
